GymRecall is built around local-first training memory. This policy explains what stays on your iPhone and the limited information used to provide subscriptions.
1. The data GymRecall stores locally
GymRecall stores the following in a local SQLite database on your device, using Drift: workout data, gyms, equipment profiles, memory notes, and locker notes. The app has no user accounts and no cloud sync for this data.
Locker photos are copied into GymRecall’s private app documents directory. The app stores a relative reference to the private file; the photo file is not written to your Photos library.
2. Locker combinations are separate secrets
A Gym Locker combination is stored in the iOS Keychain, not in the SQLite database. The combination and its internal reference are excluded from every export unconditionally and by construction. Export code does not read the Keychain.
Locker photo files are not exported. An export may contain a local path reference for a locker photo, but not the file itself.
3. Subscription processing
GymRecall uses Apple’s App Store for purchases and the RevenueCat SDK for subscription entitlement operations. The integrated app code configures that SDK and calls its offering, purchase, customer-information, and restore interfaces. In that subscription flow, RevenueCat receives purchase receipts, entitlement information, and an anonymous app-user identifier. Apple processes the purchase itself.
GymRecall’s app code does not intentionally pass workout data, gym data, memory notes, locker notes, locker photos, or locker combinations to RevenueCat. RevenueCat’s SDK may also receive standard device and platform metadata used for receipt validation and fraud prevention; this policy makes no exclusive-purpose claim about how RevenueCat processes its own information. 4. Ads, analytics, and tracking
GymRecall has no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK. GymRecall does not sell personal information or use advertising. No ads, ever, is a product commitment.
This statement describes the app’s current data flows. If that changes, this policy is updated to reflect it.
5. Retention and deletion
Because the primary app data is local, deleting GymRecall removes its local SQLite database and private documents from the device. To protect a locker combination specifically, use Clear locker in the app first; that action deactivates the active locker and deletes its Keychain secret.
The current app does not provide one in-app control that deletes all workout history, gyms, equipment profiles, memory notes, locker history, database files, and private photo files at once. If you need all local app data removed, deleting the app is the available complete-device action. Export anything you want to keep first. GymRecall holds no account and no server-side copy of workout, gym, equipment, memory, locker, or locker-photo data; deleting the app removes that local data from the device. Subscription and purchase records are separate: Apple holds the purchase/subscription record, and RevenueCat holds an anonymous app-user identifier with associated receipt and entitlement data. These records are not removed by deleting the app; manage or cancel the subscription through Apple, and contact the Support page to request deletion of RevenueCat-side data.
6. Support messages
If you contact support, we use the information you choose to send to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Do not send locker combinations, payment details, or unnecessary private workout text. Use the contact form on the Support page.
The contact form is served by Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and a submitted message is delivered to a support mailbox by email. The message is not stored on this website, and the address you give is used only to reply to you. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
7. Changes and contact
If the app’s data practices change, this policy is updated to reflect it. For questions, use the contact form on the Support page.
